The former Derby County loanee was signed by Norwich City’s sporting director at Huddersfield Town.

Norwich City are expected to bid for Chelsea’s Kasey Palmer this week, according to Sky Sports (liveblog entry 11:38). Palmer, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Derby County, was signed by Norwich sporting director Stewart Webber at Huddersfield Town.
Norwich have sold creative players James Maddison, Josh Murphy and Marley Watkins this window, and landing Palmer could help them to fill the void created by those departures.

The 21-year-old scored or made three goals in 15 games for Derby last season, which he began at Huddersfield.
And he fared slightly better the previous campaign, contributing directly to seven league strikers in 24 outings as Huddersfield gained promotion via the play-offs.
As well as Norwich, Sheffield United, Birmingham City and Newcastle United have each been credited with interest in Palmer this summer.

It remains to be seen whether Derby’s new manager Frank Lampard will pursue a deal for the player he knows from former club Chelsea.
Would the former Derby and Huddersfield loanee be a good addition for Norwich?
