Ivo Pinto could become the first player since 2001 to leave Norwich for their bitter Championship neighbours Ipswich Town.

Ivo Pinto could make a shock deadline day switch from Norwich City to Ipswich Town according to The Sun (live blog, 9.42am).
The experienced right-back has found himself out of favour at Carrow Road and has made just three Championship appearances all season, thanks in part to the emergence of Max Aarons.
Pinto’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season but The Sun believes that Norwich will let him leave for absolutely nothing before the January transfer window slams shut later on today.
And it is understood that Norwich’s bitter East Anglian rivals Ipswich have entered talks with the 29-year-old ahead of a potential deal that could raise plenty of eyebrows at Carrow Road.

Pinto arrived at Norwich three years ago from Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb and The Sun adds that he is the subject of interest from Bolton Wanderers, as well as clubs in Turkey and the MLS. But it seems that a stunning move to Ipswich is on the cards.
Pinto could become the first player since Andy Marshall in 2001 to leave Norwich for the Tractor Boys.
