Report: Norwich City want to re-sign Manchester City’s Angus Gunn on loan next season

The Manchester City youngster has impressed at Norwich City this season.

Norwich City want to take Manchester City goalkeeper Angus Gunn on loan again next season, according to the Sun on Sunday [18th February printed edition, page 60].

Gunn has impressed since moving to Norwich – the club at which his father, Bryan, spent more than a decade – on a season-long deal last summer.

And it would appear the Canaries are already making plans for the 22-year-old’s return, although Manchester City could have other ideas.

The Sun on Sunday reports the Premier League champions elect will only sanction a deal if Norwich are promoted to the Premier League.

Daniel Farke’s side can move to within five points of the Championship play-offs with a win against local rivals Ipswich Town on Sunday lunchtime.
