The Norway striker’s exploits have seen him linked with moves to Norwich City, Sheffield Wednesday and Queens Park Rangers.
The top scorer in Norway’s top flight with 12 goals in 17 games this season, Omoijuanfo is said to be available for a ‘cut-price’ £2 million.
The 23-year-old’s exploits are claimed to attracted interest from a host of clubs seeking promotion to the Premier League, and he is reportedly ‘keen to try his luck’ in English football.
More commonly found at centre-forward, it’s hard to see where Omoijuanfo would fit at Sheffield Wednesday, who already have six players fighting for places in his position, without counting Fernando Forestieri – their top scorer in each of the past two campaigns – or George Hirst – the 2017 Toulon Tournament’s golden boot winner.
A move to either Norwich or QPR would perhaps make more sense, with Canaries trio Steven Naismith, Nelson Oliveira and Cameron Jerome all being tipped to depart Carrow Road this summer, and only six teams scoring fewer goals than the R’s 52 in last season’s Championship.
Omoijuanfo, who has won one cap for Norway, was previously on the books of Jerv and Lillestrom, and is said to have been offered a trial at Manchester City earlier in his career.
