The Premier League side have become the latest club to have reportedly registered an interest in the 20-year-old.

Norwich City have reportedly entered the race to sign Hibernian striker Jason Cummings, according to The Scottish Sun.

The Canaries have become the latest side from the Premier League and Championship to go after the 20-year-old, as The Scottish Sun reports that Bournemouth, Derby County and Bristol City are all keeping a keen eye on the youngster’s progress.

It is hardly a surprise that Cummings is attracting attention from several clubs south of the border. His form has been crucial to Alan Stubbs’ men’s promotion charge in the Scottish Championship this season. His 13 league strikes makes him the club’s top scorer as well as the third highest scorer in the entire division.

However, it appears that Hibs may have a difficult task on their hands if they hope to keep him beyond this season. With Rangers opening up a 14 point lead at the top of the table, Stubbs’ side will almost certainly have to go through the play-offs if they hope to get into the top flight.

And having fallen at that stage last season, they will know that promotion is certainly going to be a big ask, but may be essential if they hope to keep hold of their star striker.

Similarly however, Norwich’s hopes of winning the race for Cummings’ signature could come down to which division they are playing in next term.

Currently, Alex Neil’s men are in the relegation zone, and with Bournemouth boasting some daylight between themselves and the bottom three, while Derby remain in the promotion race in the second tier, a move to Carrow Road may swiftly become one of the less attractive options should they go down.
