The Newcastle United goalkeeper could replace departed loan stars at Norwich City or Sheffield United.

Newcastle United goalkeeper is being eyed by Norwich City and Sheffield United, according to the Chronicle.
Both Norwich and Sheffield United have seen last season’s first choice options, Angus Gunn and Jamal Blackman, return to their respective parent clubs, Manchester City and Chelsea.
And Woodman, who recently helped England’s Under-21s to Toulon Tournament success, would be an attractive replacement for either player.
According to the Chronicle, the 21-year-old is keen to leave Newcastle and is seeking a season-long loan deal.

Woodman, who is the son of Arsenal goalkeeper coach Andy Woodman and godson of England manager Gareth Southgate, has enjoyed temporary spells at Crawley Town, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen in recent campaigns.
However, a season spent at an established Championship club such as Norwich or Sheffield United, could be the logical next stage in his development.
Woodman is currently fourth-choice at Newcastle, behind Martin Dubravka, Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot.
