Exeter are in League Two at the moment, and signing Watkins would be a big gamble by Norwich, Derby and even United.

However, there can be no doubt that the youngster is very promising and has a lot of potential.

According to BBC Sport, the 21-year-old has scored 10 goals and providing four assists in the league so far this season. Watkins has a shot accuracy of 52%.

Norwich are seventh in the Championship table at the moment with 51 points from 33 matches, as many as seven points behind Sheffield Wednesday, who are sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.

Meanwhile, Derby currently find themselves 11th in the standings with 47 points from 31 games, while Sheffield United are five points clear at the top of the League One table.
