According to Area Napoli, Napoli want to sign CSKA Moscow talent Nikola Vlasic – just a year since Everton sold him.
It’s claimed that Vlasic is represented by the same agents who have been working with Napoli on a deal for Lille striker Victor Osimhen.
Napoli now want to take advantage of that relationship with a move for Vlasic, having been offered the Croatian during their talks over Osimhen.
CSKA allegedly want €20million (£18million) for Vlasic, and Napoli are considering making a move to sign him.
Gennaro Gattuso wants a new midfielder this summer, and the versatile Vlasic would make sense given his ability to play as a box-to-box midfielder, playmaker or winger.
The 22-year-old has racked up 13 goals and seven assists this season, and seeing him make a big move already may be a little galling for Everton.

The Toffees sold Vlasic to CSKA last summer, offloading him for £14million and a sell-on clause having failed to make an impact at Goodison Park.
CSKA could now made a quick profit on Vlasic, and whilst Everton will get a cut of that, some may wonder whether Everton sold too early.
Everton need some quality in midfield, and Vlasic is emerging as a real talent. If Napoli end up signing him, Vlasic will be on an upward trajectory following his Everton exit, whilst Carlo Ancelotti and Marcel Brands have to try and find midfield reinforcements elsewhere.
