Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a big fan of Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.

Mauricio Pochettino is very keen to bring Zaniolo to Tottenham, as he rates the 20-year-old midfielder.
The youngster has impressed at Roma, and it has been claimed that Toby Alderweireld could move in a swap deal.
It has been suggested that Spurs would be willing to trade the Belgian defender and £24 million to get hold of Zaniolo.
The reports that suggest Zaniolo has agreed to a move to Tottenham conflict previous transfer updates this summer.

It is arguable whether Tottenham would be getting a good deal by paying £24 million and Alderweireld for Zaniolo anyway.
Although Zaniolo is still very young, and could develop into a world-class player, but getting rid of Alderweireld would sting.
The centre-back is still one of Tottenham’s finest defenders and, despite his release clause being very low, there is now genuine hope that he may stay with Pochettino’s men, at least for this season.
However, Zaniolo was previously a £40 million target for Spurs (Calcio Mercato), so getting him for a cheaper price by including Alderweireld in the deal may be a compromise that Pochettino feels is worth making.
