According to Calciomercato, Torino defender Nicolas Nkoulou has ‘no intention’ of staying at the club as his contract winds down.
It’s claimed that Nkoulou’s exit is now ‘certain’ as he prepares to leave the Italian side this summer, with Torino seemingly losing hope.
The report again notes that Leeds Unted are interested in signing Nkoulou, with their talks for the defender becoming ‘increasingly intense’.
Marcelo Bielsa worked with Nkoulou at Marseille, and seemingly wants to engineer a reunion at Elland Road this summer.
Leeds did sign two defenders last summer as Robin Koch and Diego Llorente joined, but both have endured injury problems this season.
Liam Cooper has also picked up some knocks this term, so Bielsa may now feel that another centre back is needed for next season.

Nkoulou signing on a free transfer could fit the bill for Leeds, and he provides major experience at the age of 30.
The former Cameroon international has been impressing in Italy, and Leeds look to be the favourites to sign him as his time in Turin comes towards its end.
