Everton winger Yannick Bolasie is wanted by Aston Villa and Middlesbrough on loan.

Yannick Bolasie is subtituted during the Premier League match between Everton and Manchester United at Goodison Park on January 1, 2018 in Liverpool, England.

Nice turned down the chance to sign Everton winger Yannick Bolasie in the summer transfer window, according to RMC Sport (11h54).

It has been reported by the French news outlet that a few weeks ago Bolasie was offered to Nice, but the Ligue 1 club is claimed to have turned down the chance to sign the DR Congo international.

The former Crystal Palace winger is now set to join Aston Villa, the Championship club’s manager Steve Bruce has told BBC Sport.

Middlesbrough manager Tony Pulis has also told Sky Sports that he wanted to sign the former Crystal Palace winger on loan.

Good move for Yannick Bolasie?

Bolasie has struggled to make an impact at Everton mainly due to injuries, and it would make sense for him to move to Villa on loan in the summer transfer window.

The Villans are a very ambitious football club and are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.

Bruce’s side will be better with Bolasie – who earns £75,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – in it.
