Newcastle United reportedly have to agree terms with Antonio Barreca after his loan was green-lit by Thierry Henry.

Monaco coach Thierry Henry has sanctioned left-back Antonio Barreca’s loan to Newcastle United, according to The Telegraph.
Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio claimed on Tuesday that Newcastle were in for the out-of-favour defender.
And The Telegraph now reports that Henry is willing to let the 23-year-old Italian join the Magpies, who now must ‘agree terms with the player’.
The report adds that United boss Rafael Benitez has ‘welcomed’ the possibility of signing Barreca and Atletico Madrid ace Gelson Martins, and that both loans would have clauses to make the transfers permanent this summer if they impress in the Premier League.
It has been a long and frustrating January window for Newcastle, but it looks like it is slowly and surely taking shape for the struggling North-East side.
Benitez is out of contract on Tyneside this summer, and it is thought that he will quit the club unless he gets the backing he needs this month to steer them from danger in the Premier League.
Benitez’s side, who beat relegation rivals Cardiff 3-0 at the weekend, are two points clear of the drop zone in 17th.
Barreca joined Monaco for £9 million last summer [Telegraph], while Martins joined the Spanish giants from Sporting in Portugal.
