West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in bringing the Newcastle United defender to The Hawthorns.

The Mail reports that the Baggies are keen to sign a new left-sided defender next month and Clark is a player who features on their wishlist as he continues to struggle to push his way up the pecking order with the Magpies. He is a player that the second tier club have looked at previously.
The £5 million signing has made eight appearances in the Premier League this term, but would surely struggle to get into Rafa Benitez’s side if the Spaniard had all of his options available to him at the heart of the defence.

Darren Moore strengthening his defensive options makes a lot of sense. West Brom are the entertainers in the Championship. They score more than two goals a game on average, but they have kept just one clean sheet in the league.
Tosin Adarabioyo had a poor night against Aston Villa on Friday and Kyle Bartley is yet to really justify the club’s decision to sign him in the summer.
Clark started 34 times when Newcastle won the Championship title in 2017, and would arguably stand a fantastic chance of establishing himself as a key man in a West Brom side that have almost all of the tools needed in the promotion race.
