Poundje is again being linked with moves to Newcastle United and Fulham, as well as Burnley.

Newcastle United will fight Fulham and Burnley to sign the Bordeaux left-back Maxime Poundje in January, according to the Sunday Mirror (December 16, page 65).
Poundje has been a regular for the French side this season, playing 22 times in Ligue 1 and the Europa League.
And with a newly-signed contract until 2021, the 26-year-old may be tough for the likes of Newcastle, Fulham and Burnley to prise away from the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux.
Poundje’s name may be especially familiar to those of a Newcastle persuasion, having been linked with the Magpies on various occasions throughout the past two years (often by either the same publication or its sisters).

And it is not the first time, too, that Fulham have been mentioned as a possible destination for the player, although Burnley’s apparent interest appears to be fresh.
Poundje was born in Bordeaux and came through the club’s academy system, making his first-team debut in 2011.
Would Poundje be a good addition for Newcastle / Fulham / Burnley?
