According to Goal, Tottenham have joined the race to sign Marseille maestro Boubacar Kamara, with Newcastle and West Ham also keen.
What’s the story?
Well, a number of Premier League clubs are tracking the 22-year-old, with Manchester United also interested.
It was the Northern Echo who revealed that Newcastle and West Ham are in talks to sign Kamara, with his contract set to expire in June.
The Frenchman is said to be demanding £150,000-a-week this summer, which may seem like a lot to ask for.
However, free transfers are usually followed by a hefty salary package to offset the lack of a transfer fee, so it makes sense.
Goal believe Atlético Madrid also want to sign Kamara, with a decision expected from the player at the beginning of April.
So far this season, the France Under-21 international has been a key player for Marseille, making 36 appearances in all competitions.
Tottenham, West Ham and Newcastle must be wary

In our view, despite the sheer volume of Premier League clubs interested in Kamara – Crystal Palace are too – Kamara looks set to move elsewhere.
It’s far from a done deal, but Goal believe Atlético Madrid are leading the race to sign the Marseille No.4 and are in pole position.
Diego Simeone’s side are likely to be able to offer Kamara the chance to play Champions League football next season.

Crucially, with the exception of Spurs who remain in contention to qualify, Kamara wouldn’t get that opportunity at Newcastle, West Ham or Crystal Palace.
Therefore, if Antonio Conte can guide Tottenham back into the Champions League, it would give Fabio Paratici a better chance of completing this deal.
Keep your eyes on this saga, with a decision expected in April.
