The Newcastle United midfielder is said to want to move further south for ‘exceptional family reasons’.

Isaac Hayden has handed in a transfer request at Newcastle United, according to the Daily Mirror (liveblog entry 09:23).
The newspaper claims Hayden has held face-to-face talks with Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez and is looking to move further south, stressing his decision is ‘purely for exceptional family reasons’.
And it notes the 23-year-old has made clear ‘how much he likes St James’s Park, the club’s fans and Benitez’.
Chelmsford-born Hayden began his professional career at Arsenal, but moved north with Hull in 2015 and on to Newcastle on a permanent basis the following year.

The former England Under-21 international helped the Magpies to the Championship title in his first season on Tyneside and made 26 appearances back in the Premier League last term.
Hayden’s departure could leave Newcastle on the lookout for another central midfielder, having already signed Ki Sung-yueng to replace the outgoing Mikel Merino.
