Newcastle United and Derby County are said to be eyeing one another’s players this summer.

Newcastle United’s Grant Hanley could form part of swap deal involving Derby County winger Tom Ince, the Mirror reports.
It is claimed that Derby are ready to sell Ince – their top scorer with 15 goals this season – to provide new boss Gary Rowett the funds with which to rebuild his squad.
And the Rams are reportedly unlikely to turn down offers in excess of £10 million for the 25-year-old, who was linked with a move to Newcastle in January.

The Magpies failed to add to their squad at the time, but will be keen to do so having secured their place in next season’s Premier League as champions of the second tier.
And, according to the Mirror, Ince’s signature could again be sought by Rafa Benitez, who was Liverpool’s manager during the player’s early years as a pro at Anfield.

Derby are said to have offered £4 million for Hanley, who barely featured for Newcastle last season. And it is claimed the Scot could be used as a makeweight in any deal for Ince.
Would a Hanley/Ince swap deal be good for Newcastle United/Grant Hanley?
