Newcastle United have reportedly submitted a loan bid for the 20-year-old.
The Chronicle has reported that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is weighing up whether to let Ruben Loftus-Cheek join Newcastle United on loan.
The 20-year-old midfielder has been linked with Newcastle in recent days.
And The Chronicle has reported that Rafael Benitez’s loan offer for the highly-rated Chelsea starlet is “under consideration” by the Italian manager.

The report goes on to claim that the Magpies’ success of getting that deal done hinges on whether Conte can find a Premier League club willing to take Loftus-Cheek on loan, but failure to do that would open the door for Benitez.
United, who lost to Sheffield Wednesday at St James’s Park on Boxing Day, slipping to second place in the Championship, still boast a six-point cushion in the automatic promotion spots.
But obviously bringing a player of Loftus-Cheek’s undoubted talent on board would certainly boost their hopes of returning to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Benitez’s side host Nottingham Forest at St James’s Park tonight, after losing to Philippe Montanier’s troops earlier this month.
Newcastle played the second half of that one with nine men and still only lost 2-1, with a Jamal Lascelles own goal on 86 minutes sparing the hosts’ blushes.
