The 25-year-old has been linked to Newcastle United.
The Daily Mail reported on Thursday that negotiations between the 25-year-old and Burnley had reached an impasse over his wage demands.

The Clarets hitman is on £25,000 a week at the moment, but Gray – who scored nine Premier League goals in 32 appearances last season – is looking for a significant increase if he is to stay at Turf Moor.
And The Chronicle have reported that Newcastle would “steal in and take advantage” of the breakdown in negotiations by satisfying his wage demands.
That is a lot of money, especially given Gray’s modest record for Burnley last season, and it remains to be seen if he is worth it.
Perhaps Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez would be better off exploring other options before committing to such a deal.
Then again, Benitez might be anxious to get his first signing of the summer wrapped up after missing out on a number of his targets in what has been a frustrating window already for the Spanish boss.
