Newcastle United are apparently wiling to listen to offers for Cheick Tiote.

According to a report in the Shields Gazette, Newcastle United are willing to offload Cheick Tiote this summer.
Tiote has reportedly expressed an interest in moving on from St. James’ Park, as he wants a new challenge.
The Ivorian midfielder turned down a move from Newcastle to go to China in January, but he now apparently feels that the time is right to depart Tyneside.

Tiote only has one-year left on his current deal at Newcastle, and he is unlikely to be offered a new deal, with the Magpies in the Championship.
Newcastle realise that this summer could be their last chance to cash in on Tiote, and they are willing to sell the 30-year-old.
Rafael Benitez has been told that he does not have to sell players to raise funds, but Tiote is one of the players Newcastle are willing to listen to offers for.

Tiote has been at Newcastle since 2010, and he has made over 150 appearances for the North East side.
Tiote only played 21 times for Newcastle last season, and he would be far from a certain starter next term.
