Newcastle United have offered Yoan Gouffran a new contract, but now want a response to their offer.
According to the Chronicle, Newcastle United have decided to give Yoan Gouffran until the end of today to make his mind up about his future.
Newcastle have offer Gouffran a contract extension, which will keep him at St. James’ Park for another year.

However, the Frenchman has been taking his time to consider his options so far this summer.
Rafael Benitez has been patient with Gouffran to date, but Newcastle are now apparently fed up of waiting for a response.
The Magpies now want to know what Gouffran’s decision over his future is, so they can start formulating their own transfer plans.
Gouffran’s current contract at Newcastle is due to expire in the near future, and Benitez may need to sign a replacement if the midfielder is to depart.
Gouffran struggled last time he played at Premier League level, but he did show his worth for Newcastle in the Championship last term.
