Newcastle United are showing an interest in West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen having previously missed out.
The Magpies are thought to be prioritising the signing of a new right-sided winger this summer.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby is a prime target for Newcastle but the Magpies could end up looking closer to home.
TalkSPORT claim that Newcastle are back in for West Ham wide man Jarrod Bowen.
It’s suggested that West Ham would be reluctant to sell Bowen this summer.
Yet with Eddie Howe understood to be a big fan, Newcastle could try their luck anyway.
West Ham are in real danger of being relegated and they almost certainly won’t be able to keep hold of Bowen if they go down.
A number of Premier League clubs would be interested in Bowen in that instance and Newcastle may be near the front of the queue.

Newcastle famously wanted Jarrod Bowen under Steve Bruce
Newcastle fans are used to seeing rumours about Bowen at this point.
The big moment was in January 2020 as Steve Bruce pushed to sign Bowen from Hull City.
Bruce claims that he was waiting to be given the green light to sign Bowen, but the funds just weren’t available.
West Ham pounced and signed Bowen, paying around £18million for the wide man.
Bowen would certainly be more expensive now having racked up 37 goals and 27 assists in 143 games for West Ham.
There were even reports from 90Min this time last year suggesting that Newcastle will wanted Bowen.
Eddie Howe has shown that he likes to bring in proven Premier League players for Newcastle and Bowen would certainly fit that bill.
Whilst not quite as exciting as Diaby, this could still be a quality signing for Newcastle if they can make it happen.
