Swansea City’s Jefferson Montero is reportedly wanted by Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Montero has fallen out of favour at Welsh outfit Swansea, who will sell the 27-year-old winger this summer.

According to the report, Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez would sign the Ecuador international for about £4 million.
The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 65, July 9, 2017) has also claimed that Montero has offers from abroad, but he wants to remain in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old winger has been on the books of Swansea since 2014 and knows the Premier League well.
The former Villarreal and Morella man had injury problems last season and could make only two starts in the Premier League, with 11 more appearances in the league coming as a substitute.
While Newcastle fans may not be too inspired if Montero joins Newcastle, for a price of £4m, it could be worth recruiting the winger for the Magpies.
