Newcastle United are interested in signing Jacob Murphy from Norwich City in the summer transfer window, according to The Chronicle.
According to the report, Newcastle would hope to secure the services of Murphy by paying £8 million as transfer fee, but Norwich want closer to £12m.

The 22-year-old winger is one of the best young players in the Championship and is currently on England Under-21 international duty at the European Under-21 Championship .
The youngster scored nine goals and provided six assists in 37 Championship appearances for Norwich last season.
Murphy is a talented and promising young attacking player, and the Englishman would be a very good long-term signing for Newcastle.
However, the Magpies do face competition from a number of clubs for the Norwich attacker. According to The Mirror, Crystal Palace, Swansea City, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion all are interested in Murphy.
With so much (reported) interest in Murphy, one suspects that Norwich could get the £12m that they are claimed to be looking for the winger.
