Newcastle United are interested in snapping up Liverpool forward Danny Ings.

Newcastle were linked with Ings over the summer, but no deal materialised.
At that time the Magpies were keen to snap up Ings on loan, but Liverpool wouldn’t sanction the move.
Ings has continued to play a reserve role at Anfield this term though, and Rafael Benitez is now keen to bring the rapid forward to Tyneside.
Newcastle are also said to be keeping an eye on Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet.

Praet is another long term target of the Magpies, who has clearly caught Benitez’s eye.
The Northern Echo claim that both deals could be dependent on the budget which Benitez is given in January.

Newcastle are yet to finalise their transfer plans, and it is not yet clear how much money Benitez will be given to invest in his side when the transfer window re-opens.
