Newcastle United have not given up all hope of signing Miguel Almiron.

According to the Telegraph, Newcastle United could yet sign Miguel Almiron this month.
Newcastle’s chances of landing Almiron appeared all but over earlier this month, after they failed to land the attacking midfielder from Atlanta United.
But the Telegraph say that all hope is not lost yet for Newcastle in the race for the Paraguayan.
Although any deal remains a long shot, Newcastle have not given up hope of landing Rafael Benitez’s top target.

The Magies need to raise their offer significantly to land Almiron, who is valued at £25 million, but they are struggling to get deals for other targets over the line.
Gelson Martins appears to be heading to Monaco, despite Newcastle’s interest, and that could see Benitez’s side go after Almiron again.
Benitez is known to be a big fan of the creative midfielder, who has shone in MLS over recent years.
