However, even though Benitez would like Sakho at St. James’ Park, the Spanish now feels a deal is unlikely.
West Ham and Newcastle are both battling against the drop, and Benitez does not expect any favours from David Moyes.

But Benitez realises that West Ham are unlikely to want to strengthen one of their relegation rivals.
