According to The Times, Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow has been angered by the manner of manager Steve Bruce dropping him against Wolverhampton Wanderers tonight.
It has been reported that Newcastle manager Bruce has decided to leave Darlow out of the starting lineup for the Premier League game against Wolves at St. James’ Park.
Martin Dubravka will reportedly return to the team, meaning that the 30-year-old goalkeeper will be on the substitutes’ bench.
The Englishman was informed of the decision only on Thursday, according to the report, which has added that the former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper ‘is angry not to have been informed in person earlier and there has been a level of surprise in the first-team squad about how the decision has been handled’.
The report has claimed that Darlow is ‘deeply unhappy’ at the manner of his omission from the team.

Disappointment for Karl Darlow
Darlow will be disappointed that he will not play for Newcastle against Wolves.
The 30-year-old has done well for the Magpies so far this season, with The Times reporting that he has made the fifth-highest number of saves among Premier League goalkeepers.
Dubravka is now fit and available, and while one can understand why Bruce wants his first-choice goalkeeper to be back in the team, one does feel for Darlow.
