Newcastle United head of recruitment Steve Nickson will continue to work for the club despite Eddie Howe becoming the new manager, according to The Sun.

What’s the story?

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Newcastle manager Howe wants to shake up the staff at the Magpies.

Howe was recently appointed as the new manager of Newcastle.

Nickson worked under former Newcastle boss Steve Bruce.

And, according to The Sun, he will carry on at the Premier League club.

Nickson has been working at Newcastle for over 10 years now.

Exciting times ahead for Newcastle

Things on the pitch are looking bleak for Newcastle at the moment.

After all, the Magpies are in real danger of getting relegated.

The Magpies are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment.

However, we know how good Howe is.

The Englishman kept Bournemouth in the Premier League for a number of years.

Howe will be given funds in the January transfer window.

Newcastle need good players to enhance their chances of avoiding the drop.

These are exciting times for Newcastle, who have lofty plans for the future under PIF.
