Newcastle United have been linked with Montpellier midfielder Ryad Boudebouz.
According to a report in the Chronicle, Newcastle United have been offered Ryad Boudebouz by Montpellier.
Newcastle have been linked with Boudebouz for some time, with Rafael Benitez reportedly feeling he could enhance the quality of their starting line-up.
Montpellier are apparently now willing to allow the attacking midfielder to leave.

The Ligue 1 club have offered Newcastle the chance to sign Boudebouz, but it remains to be seen whether the Magpies will make a bid.
Newcastle are wanting to invest in the January transfer window, but they have a long list of transfer targets.

The Magpies are determined to earn promotion straight back to the Premier League, and Benitez wants to inject some more quality in to his starting line up.
Boudebouz has made 17 appearances for Montpellier so far this season, and he has scored on seven occasions.
Newcastle are currently in second place in the Championship table, two points behind league leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
