Tim Krul looks certain to leave Newcastle United this summer but Deportivo aren’t exactly enamoured by his potential arrival.

It’s the fact that, with just two weeks to go before the end of the transfer window, there are still no concrete offers on the table for a goalkeeper only recently viewed as one of the Premier League’s finest.
That cruciate ligament injury suffered on international duty with The Netherlands in the autumn of 2015 continues to haunt fans’ favourite Krul, who spent the last season on loan at both Ajax and AZ Alkmaar attempting to recapture his best form.
With Rob Elliott currently Newcastle’s first choice, and Benitez keen to bring in further reinforcements between the sticks, it appears that Krul’s long association with The Magpies is destined to end this summer.
The Galician side are in need of a new first choice shot-stopper after Argentine German Lux, who spent six years at the Riazor, left to return to his homeland with River Plate this summer.
However, the report adds that concerns over Krul’s fitness, plus the transfer fee demanded by Newcastle, means the cash-strapped Depor may turn their attention elsewhere.
Potentially rejected by a club who finished 16th in the Spanish top flight last season; it’s fair to say Krul has enjoyed better days.
