Newcastle United, Stoke City, and Watford and reportedly interested in Serdar Tasci.

According to reports from The Mirror, a trio of Premier League clubs are showing a keen interest in Spartak Moscow defender Serdar Tasci.

The report claims that Watford, Stoke City and Newcastle United are keen on signing the 30-year-old, who would cost around just £3 million.

Watford are interested to sign Tunisian defender Abdennour on a season long loan. However, should the club fail to land him, they would go after Tasci.

The 30-year-old started his career at VFB Stuttgart before moving to Spartak in 2013.

He returned to the Bundesliga three years later for a loan spell at Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich. Tasci also made 14 appearances for the Germany national team.

Newcastle have been very busy in the summer transfer window, with the Magpies signing as many as five new players.

The Magpies have already one central-defender in Florian Lejeune from La Liga outfit Eibar, but Rafael Benitez could be looking to further bolster his defensive set up.

Given Tasci’s quality, experience and price tag, he would be a good signing for the Magpies.
