Newcastle United are said to be monitoring the progress of Ryan Manning, who has impressed at Queens Park Rangers.

Newcastle are said to have funds to spend in January, with Steve Bruce already eyeing up new additions.
Manning is one of the names said to be on Newcastle’s wishlist, as he could offer a value for money addition.
Manning has not signed a new contract at QPR, with the Championship side now reportedly prepared to sell him for £3 million in January.
If Manning was to move to Newcastle he could offer Bruce an option at left-wing back or further forward.
Manning has been played on the left hand side of QPR’s defence this term by Mark Warburton and his combative performances have caught the eye of Newcastle’s scouts.

Although the addition of the Irishman wouldn’t scream ambition, he could bolster Bruce’s side’s options in both midfield and at wing-back.
And Manning’s versatility could make him appealing addition for Newcastle to make.
