Newcastle United are said to be interested in snapping up the forward from West Bromwich Albion.

The Baggies reportedly expect to lose Rondon this summer, following their relegation to the Championship.
And Newcastle are believed to be right at the front of the queue to sign the Venezuelan.

The Magpies are known to be looking for a new striker, as Rafael Benitez looks to improve his side’s attack.
Newcastle already have the likes of Dwight Gayle, Joselu and Ayoze Perez at St. James’ Park, but none of the trio scored prolifically last season.

Rondon has also struggled for goals in recent times, but the West Brom striker has impressed with his work-rate and link-up play in the top flight.
If Rondon does sign for Newcastle soon, he will become Benitez’s side’s second addition of the summer – following the arrival of Martin Dubravka on a permanent deal.
