Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez is on the radar of Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United, according to a report.

Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Davinson Sanchez from Tottenham Hotspur.
It has been reported by Don Balon that the Colombia international defender will be a “dream” signing for Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez.
However, according to the report, Tottenham will only listen to offers of €60 million (£53.17m) and above for the 22-year-old central defender.
Newcastle United move?
Sanchez is one of the best young central defenders in Europe, and it is hard to see Tottenham cash in on the former Ajax star.
True, the Colombian could fetch a lot of money in the summer transfer window, but Tottenham are building for the future and are not going to sell their best players.

Moreover, Sanchez is unlikely to leave a top-four club in the Premier League to move to a team who struggle to even break into the top 10.
According to WhoScored, the 22-year-old made 22 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Tottenham this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
