Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is reportedly wanted by Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United.
Alfredo Morelos of Rangers
It has been reported that Newcastle are interested in signing Morelos from Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers in the summer transfer window.
The report has also claimed that the 22-year-old Colombia international striker could cost over £20 million.
Stats
Morelos is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership and played well for Rangers this season.
According to BBC Sport, the 22-year-old striker scored 18 goals and provided four assists in the league for Rangers this season.

Good signing for Newcastle United?
Morelos is a very good striker, and it is clear that the next step in the career of the Colombian is a move to the Premier League.
If the youngster sorts out his temperamental issues, then he could be a very good addition to the Newcastle squad.
Rafael Benitez is one of the best managers in the world, and working under the former Liverpool and Chelsea boss is only going to make Morelos a better striker.
Interestingly, current Rangers manager Gerrard worked under Benitez at Liverpool, and they won the Champions League together in 2005.
