Eddy Salcedo is reportedly on the radar of Newcastle United.
It has been reported that Premier League club Newcastle made a call to Salcedo’s agent on Friday regarding the availability of the 17-year-old striker.
The report has also claimed that a month back, AS Monaco in Ligue 1 in France called the teenager’s agent about the possibility of signing him this summer.
Fcinternews.it has reported that Inter Milan will make his loan deal from Genoa permanent next month for €8 million (£7.04m).
The report has further added that Antonio Conte, who will become the new Inter Milan head coach, will evaluate Salcedo in pre-season before making a decision on whether or not to send him out on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
The Italy Under-19 international striker is a very promising and talented young striker, but he is quite raw and needs to develop further.
A loan spell at Newcastle under manager Rafael Benitez will help in his progress, but the St. James’ Park faithful should not expect him to be a superstar in the Premier League rightaway and have to have patience in him.
