Newcastle United, Burnley and Nice are interested in signing Ryan Christie from Celtic in the January transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.
It has been reported that French club Nice value the 25-year-old midfielder at £10 million, but they hope to get him at a cheaper price in January.
However, according to the report, Celtic do not want to sell the Scotland international in the middle of the season, as the Glasgow giants aim to make it 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row.
Celtic stay
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Christie is out of contract at Celtic in the summer of 2022.
This means that Celtic do not have to sell the Scotland international in the January transfer window.
With the Hoops aiming to win the title and make an impact in the Europa League this season, the Glasgow giants are unlikely to entertain any offers for the 25-year-old.
Christie has established himself as an important player in the team, and manager Neil Lennon will know his importance.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old has made seven starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic so far this season, scoring two goals and providing four assists in the process.
