According to The Shields Gazette, Newcastle United are in talks over the signing of Ryan Fraser in the summer transfer window.

Fraser is a free agent at the moment, having left Bournemouth – who have been relegated to the Championship – this summer.

It has been reported that Newcastle manager Steve Bruce is a big fan of the 26-year-old Scotland international winger.

According to WhoScored, Fraser made 21 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Bournemouth this past season, scoring one goal and providing four assists in the process.

The winger made 35 starts and three substitute appearances in the league for the Cherries during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring seven goals and providing 14 assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Fraser is a good winger who scores goals and creates chances, and the 26-year-old would be a good signing for Newcastle this summer.

The Scotland international is a free agent, meaning that he would be a low-cost signing when his wages are taken into account, and his experience of playing in the Premier League will also come in handy.
