Newcastle United are said to be looking at the Tottenham Hotspur defender to provide back up.
Tottenham’s DeAndre Yedlin warms up before the match
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United are eyeing up a move for Tottenham Hotspur full back DeAndre Yedlin.
The Magpies have been busy this summer, bringing in no fewer than eight new players to the club so far.
And all indications are that they aren’t finished, and will target more signings before the end of the transfer window in 10 days time.

Finding cover at right back is thought to be among Rafa Benitez’s plans, with an injury to summer recruit Jesus Gamez leaving Newcastle short on options. Yedlin impressed during a loan spell with Sunderland last season and is thought to be available for £4 million.
Newcastle are not the only Championship side interested in his services, however, with Aston Villa and Derby County, as well a Premier League Hull City, said to be keen on a deal.
Tottenham’s DeAndre Yedlin warms up
The future of right back Daryl Janmaat may be key to any move for Yedlin, however. Yedlin had been expected to leave following Newcastle’s relegation last season, and the Daily Mail reports that West Ham and Napoli are interested in the defender.
Should the Dutchman secure a move, then it is likely Newcastle will push ahead with a bid for Yedlin.
