Newcastle United are said to be willing to rival Watford in the chase for AC Milan forward Mbaye Niang.
Niang spent the last six months of last season on loan at Watford, and impressed in flashes during his time at Vicarage Road.

With Newcastle looking for a winger this summer, Niang has reportedly been put on Rafael Benitez’s list of potential targets.
Newcastle have let AC Milan know about their interest in the wide-man, but complications exist over a deal.
Watford are said to be interested in bringing Niang back themselves, and AC Milan value the 22-year-old very highly.
The Italian giants are said to be looking for £18 million, if they are to sell Niang this summer, and that could put the French born forward out of Newcastle’s price range.
Niang made 11 appearances for Watford during his time with the Hornets last term, scoring on two occasions.
