West Bromwich Albion defender Ahmed Hegazi is reportedly wanted by Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion.

It has been reported that Hegazi has a release clause of £10 million in his contract at West Brom, and that Premier League clubs Newcastle and Brighton are reportedly ready to trigger it.
Intense Competition
Newcastle and Brighton, though, are not the only clubs in the Premier League who are reportedly interested in signing the 27-year-old central defender.
Back in May, ESPN FC claimed that Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Leicester City are keeping tabs on the Egypt international.
ESPN FC reported in June of interest in the centre-back from Wolverhampton Wanderers, who won automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of last season.

Good signing?
Hegazi would be a bargain signing for Newcastle and Brighton – and for the other reported interest teams – for £10m.
The centre-back played well for West Brom last season, as he featured in all 38 Premier League matches, according to WhoScored.
