Newcastle United and Aston Villa have both been impressed by the Manchester City midfielder’s performances this season.
According to a report in The World Game, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace have both submitted offers for Manchester City midfielder Aaron Mooy.
Mooy has been out on loan at Huddersfield Town this season, and the Australian’s performances have been highly impressive.
Mooy has been one of the stand out midfielders in the Championship, and interest is now mounting in him.

Aston Villa are also said to want Mooy, but affording him could be a problem for Steve Bruce’s side.
Villa have a limited transfer budget, and City are believed to want £10 million to allow Mooy to leave permanently.
Newcastle and Palace will reportedly meet that asking price, with both keen to add the Australian to their squad.

Newcastle are looking to enhance the quality of their options, following their promotion to the Premier League.
Rafael Benitez is keen to enhance his midfield options at St. James’ Park, with a number of players linked.
Palace, meanwhile, believe that Mooy’s energy could be crucial to them.
