Newcastle United and Fulham are the latest clubs linked with the Nottingham Forest star

Joe Lolley of Notts Forest scores to make it 4-3 during the Sky Bet Championship match between Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest at Villa Park on November 28, 2018 in Birmingham, England.

Newcastle United and Fulham are ‘weighing up January bids’ for the Nottingham Forest winger, Joe Lolley, the Daily Mirror reports (November 29th liveblog, 16:42).

Lolley set up four of Forest’s five goals and scored the other himself in Wednesday’s draw at Aston Villa, and is already attracting interest from Cardiff City, Watford and West Bromwich Albion, according to the Daily Mail.

But the trio could face competition from Newcastle and Fulham for the £450,000 January signing.

The Daily Mirror claims Nottingham Forest will want to keep hold of the 26-year-old, who is under contract until 2022 at the City Ground.

But the Daily Mail report suggests Lolley is valued at around the £5 million mark.

Nottingham Forest are currently fighting for promotion back to the Premier League after two decades away, and that could have a bearing on Lolley’s desire to jump ship – especially with Newcastle and Fulham battling relegation this season.

Would the Forest winger be a good addition for Newcastle / Fulham?
