Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that West Ham United have agreed personal terms with Newcastle United target and Chelsea striker Armando Broja.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed West Ham are close to signing Broja from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Albania international striker, who spent last season on loan at Southampton from Chelsea, has agreed personal terms with the Hammers.
West Ham want to sign the 20-year-old on a permanent deal, and it is now up to Chelsea, according to Romano.
The Guardian reported last week that West Ham had made a bid of £25 million plus £5 million in add-ons for Broja.

The report claimed that Newcastle and Everton are keen on securing the services of the Chelsea striker as well.

Disappointing for the Magpies
It seems that Newcastle United are set to miss out on yet another of their striker targets.
As reported by 90min, Newcastle were close to signing Hugo Ekitike from Reims in the January transfer window and this summer, but the striker is now at Paris Saint-Germain.
And it appears that Broja will move to West Ham.
