Brahimi has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, and Newcastle are said to have watched him this week.

Portuguese outlet O Jogo have claimed that Newcastle United scouts were in attendance to watch FC Porto attacker Yacine Brahimi on Monday night.
The Toon were not the only club to be represented by scouts watching Brahimi, with English Championship side Norwich City, Atletico Madrid, Villarreal and Bordeaux among plenty of other clubs watching the winger.
Newcastle scouts would have liked what they saw, as Brahimi scored a brace in a 3-1 Liga NOS win over Nacional. The Algeria international opened the scoring, squeezing the ball past goalkeeper Daniel Guimaraes.
Porto doubled their tally through Tiquinho before Bryan Rochez pulled one back for Nacional, placing the ball past Iker Casillas. Brahimi rounded off the win though, slamming the ball into the top corner to win 3-1.

Reports of Newcastle watching Brahimi comes just hours after Everton were linked with a move for Porto’s number eight, with the Mirror claiming that Everton were also in attendance for the ex-Stade Rennais wide man.
Brahimi, 28, has been in fine form for Porto this season, scoring seven goals and creating six more in 25 league and cup appearances. But he is likely to leave Porto sooner rather than later, with his contract expiring this summer.
