Newcastle United could be able to land a cut-price deal for Allan Saint-Maximin.

According to L’Equipe, as translated and relayed by Get French Football News, Newcastle United are back in the market for Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
It’s believed that Nice have strangely cut their asking price from €40million (£36million) to €25million (£22.5million) for the speedster.
That has sparked Newcastle’s interest once again, with the Magpies potentially making a move to land Saint-Maximin to give Steve Bruce a new winger, though there is still €10million between the valuations.
Last season, the 22-year-old notched six goals and three assists for Nice, continuing to dazzle with his blistering pace and dribbling ability.
That price reduction should make Saint-Maximin hugely appealing, with Newcastle needing another winger after Kenedy’s failed loan move from Chelsea came to an end.
What’s interesting is that The Mirror recently noted that the Newcastle scouting team had put forward Saint-Maximin and Hoffenheim striker Joelinton, but former boss Rafael Benitez wasn’t keen on either.

Now, Joelinton is set for a move to Newcastle according to The Northern Echo, whilst Saint-Maximin may now follow with Bruce seemingly willing to sign two players Benitez didn’t want.
That would be a huge outlay on two players, but would give Newcastle a really dangerous attack alongside Miguel Almiron, and whilst Benitez wasn’t interested, Bruce could sanction a hugely exciting double deal.
