Newcastle United are being offered managers as successors to Rafael Benitez.

According to The Mirror, Newcastle United have rejected approaches from agents offering managers to the club as potential replacements for Rafael Benitez.
The Magpies have made a poor start to the season, picking up just two points from their first six league games of the campaign, leaving them in the bottom three alongside Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town.
Newcastle fans are hoping for an upturn in form as they host Leicester City this weekend, but there are lingering concerns about Rafael Benitez’s future as manager.
The Spaniard continues to plug on in the job despite a perceived lack of backing from owner Mike Ashley, particularly in the transfer market.
Newcastle ended the summer transfer window in profit, which few Premier League clubs can say in this day and age, and with Benitez’s contract expiring this summer, there are fears he will move on.
Now, The Mirror report that Newcastle have received approaches from agents offering managers to the club as replacements for Benitez – but the Magpies have rejected those approaches.

That may just give fans hope that Benitez will end up getting a new contract and the right financial backing to stay at Newcastle, as they seemingly have no interest in any other managers right now.
It does though note that Benitez’s current plan is to move on this summer, and Ashley will have to come up with something special to tempt him into staying at Tyneside.
