It is being reported that Newcastle United players have been shaken by the probable exit of manager Alan Pardew.
Newcastle United’s players have been rattled by the possible loss of their manager Alan Pardew, according to reports in the Chronicle.
It is reported that Pardew has given no indication to his players that anything extraordinary is taking place, but the rumour mill insists that the Magpies’ boss is headed for Crystal Palace.
It is believed that Adam Armstrong, Paul Dummett, Rolando Aarons and Callum Roberts, who have been brought into the first-team set-up by Pardew could be the most adversely affected by his departure should he agree to take over the reins at Selhurst Park.
While Pardew didn’t enjoy a healthy relationship with many fans at St James’ Park, the club’s fortunes had improved enormously in recent weeks and most of the players seemed to get on with the tactician.
It remains to be seen whether Pardew leaving would bring a slump in form should Palace and Newcastle reach a settlement.
