According to The Telegraph, Joelinton has hired Brazilian analytics company Outlier FC to help him at Newcastle.
What’s the story?
Well, the £40m man is clearly going above and beyond to continue his resurgence at Newcastle.
The Telegraph believe Joelinton has hired the company to specifically help him develop a smoother understanding with Jonjo Shelvey and the £25m man Joe Willock.
Speaking about his decision to hire external help, the Brazilian said: “We have a Zoom meeting once a week where we discuss my last game, things that I did well, others that I can improve. The club obviously do that, too, but this is more detailed.”
Clearly, the 25-year-old is strongly devoted to becoming a hero on Tyneside.
Joelinton’s efforts saw him named Newcastle’s Player of the Month for February, which suggests his extracurricular work is paying off.
So far this season, the Newcastle No.7 has scored two goals in 25 Premier League appearances, while also providing one assist.
Newcastle fans must adore Joelinton

It doesn’t always work out when a footballer arrives in the Premier League from abroad, and from that point on, it can go one of two ways.
Joelinton could’ve sulked as Newcastle went through the motions under Mike Ashley and Steve Bruce.
He also could’ve thrown a tantrum when Eddie Howe wanted to move him into midfield, away from his usual role as a striker.
However, Joelinton embraces everything that is thrown at him on Tyneside, and deals with it superbly.

To hear that he’s gone out of his way to hire Outlier FC speaks volumes about the type of character he is.
The South American is clearly keen to buy into Howe’s tactical switch, rather than kick up a fuss about it.
If anyone epitomises Newcastle right now, it’s Joelinton.
